Morgan Freeman has been confirmed to play a former CIA agent in Millennium Entertainment's "Cold Warriors" movie, according to Deadline.
The comedy/action spy movie is being directed by Raja Gosnell ("Big Momma's House," "The Smurfs").
Freeman will play a retired CIA agent who enlists the help of his stepson to complete a Cold War-era mission.
The role of the stepson has not yet been cast.
Freeman will be next seen in "London Has Fallen," out in March 2016, a "Ben-Hur" remake, and "Going In Style" (post-production).
"Cold Warriors" will be produced by Mark Gill, Lori McCreary and Robin Schorr.
