Egypt’s market loses LE2.1 bn on Sunday, indexes mixed

Egypt's stock market ended its Sunday session with a mixed performance, as the benchmark EGX30 index and the broader EGX100 index inched down 0.45 percent and 0.17 percent, respectively, and the small and mid-cap EGX70 index inched up 0.17 percent.
 
Local and Arab institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE90.7 million and LE8.9 million respectively, while foreign institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE2.2 million.
 
The EGX market lost LE2.08 billion (US$267 million), hitting LE445.34 billion, compared to Thursday's LE447.42 billion.
