The Egyptian stock exchange's benchmark index EGX30 inched up 0.24 percent to 7,175.59 points Tuesday , while the EGX market lost LE250 million (US$32 million), the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index decreased 0.07 percent, while the broader EGX100 index inched up 0.03 percent.
Local and Arab institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE8.3 million and LE14.2 million respectively, while foreign institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE18.3 million.
The EGX market lost LE250 million ($32 million), hitting LE444.74 billion, compared to Monday's LE444.99 billion.
