Egypt's market incurred heavy losses on Sunday's session, as the benchmark EGX30 index went fell 3.22 percent, recording7,625.76 points and a turnover of LE349.5 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index dropped 2.86 percent and 2.21 percent, respectively.
Foreign and local institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE7.7 million and LE31.7 million, respectively, while Arab institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE608,985.
The EGX market capital lost LE10.66 billion (US$1.4 billion), hitting LE474.25 billion, compared to LE484.91 billion onThursday.
