Cairo Opera House continues preparations for New Suez Canal opening ceremony

The Cairo Opera House is continuing preparations for the opening ceremony of the new Suez Canal.
 
Director Inas Abdel Dayem said Omar Khairat is performing in the first part of the celebration for 40 minutes with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, the Cairo Opera Orchestra, the A Cappella Choir, the Cairo Opera Choir Opera and the Opera Children’s Choir, conducted by Nayer Nagui.
 
She added that the second part includes the triumphal march of the opera Aida, which will take 28 minutes, with Iman Mustafa as Aida, Italian tenor Antonio Chiriano as Radames, baritone Reda al-Wakil as Ramfis, mezzo soprano Jolie Faizy as Amneris, baritone Mustafa Mohamed as Amonasro and bass baritone Abdel Wahab al-Sayed as the pharaoh, all accompanied by the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, the Cairo Opera Orchestra, the A Cappella Choir, the Cairo Opera Ballet and the Opera Choir, led by Aldo Maniato. The opera is conducted by Italian conductor David Crescenzi and directed by Abdallah Saad.
