The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) is closed on Tuesday upon the decision of Ibrahim Mehleb, the prime minister, it was decided that, June 30, 2015 to be an official holiday at the Egyptian Exchange for the occasion of June 30 revolution, the EGX said in statement.
Also, EGX will be closed Wednesday July 1 on the occasion of banks holiday.
Trading will be resumed on Thursday July 2.
EGX indices ended Monday with a steep decline, with the market capitalization losing as much as LE4.4 billion.
