Egypt's market achieved gains during Sunday’s session, as the benchmark EGX30 index rose 1.26 percent , recording 8,511.98 points and a turnover of LE320 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index rose by 0.91 percent and 0.88 percent, respectively.
Foreign and Arab institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE46.12 million and LE242,113, respectively, while local institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE43 million.
The EGX market capital gained LE3.48 billion (US$459 million), hitting LE489.61 billion, compared to LE486.13 billion on Thursday.
