Steel companies have declared the lowest prices for its products during the month of June. Seven companies reduced the prices between LE100-LE300 from prices of last month for one ton.
The Egypt Steel company reduced its price by LE100, for a total of LE4,750 per ton. Delta, for the industrial and maritime investments company, reduced its price by LE125, for a total of LE4,600 per ton. The Medi steel company reduced its price by LE200, making the price per ton LE4,650. The E-Star Egypt company reduced its price by LE210, for a total of LE4,550 per ton. The Sarhan steel company reduced its price by LE220, selling for a total of LE4,600 per ton. Both Maadi Steel and the Upper Egypt company for steel reduced their prices by LE300, selling their steel for LE4,500 per ton.
Meanwhile, Supply Minister Khaled Hanafy said steel production reached 154,309 tons and that the amount of steel sold in the local market in May reached 109,473 tons.
