The total number of people who crossed between Egypt and Gaza through the Rafah border crossing reached 953 on the second day of the border’s exceptional opening.
A source from the crossing said 543 people arrived in Egypt from Gaza, while 410 others left for Gaza.
It was decided on Saturday to open the border for three days to allow for the passage of stranded people, humanitarian cases and aid.
