Beheira security services have found and returned a young man to his family. He had been kidnapped and held for a LE1.5 million ransom.
Major General Mohamed Fathy Ismail, security chief of Beheira, was notified of the abduction while in the Marsa Matrouh province. The police report also indicated that the kidnappers requested a ransom to release him.
Investigations have shown that the kidnap victim was forcibly taken from the coast in Marsa Matrouh to an apartment in Borg al-Arab city.
Security forces were able to trap the suspect as he was attempting to retrieve the ransom.
The victim explained that the suspect forced him to sign bonds for the sale of his crops. The suspect admitted his crime, citing financial issues between them.
