An Interior Ministry’s Media Center official said three masked gunmen driving a red car without license plates tried to break into the Hegaza Post Office in Qous, Qena on Wednesday and killed the security guard who tried to stop them. They also wounded an office employee.
The official added that the gunmen was not able to rob the place and fled the scene.
