Egypt's market extended losses on Sunday, as the benchmark EGX30 index fell1.45 percent, recording 8,782.55 points and a turnover of LE385 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 and the broader EGX100 index declined 1.76 percent and 1.52 percent, respectively,
Local and foreign institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE1.8 million and LE13.3 million, respectively, while Arab institution were net sellers, recording net flows of LE6.1 million.
The EGX market capital lost LE5.4 billion (US$711 million) to hit LE495.71 billion, compared to LE501.11 billion on Thursday.
