Media presenter Rola Kharsa displayed in her program on LTC channel a case of alleged murder and torture of a wife by her husband in Sharqiya.
Hussein al-Attar, the brother of the victim, told Kharsa: "My sister's husband called me the night of the incident, March 21, and asked me to come to him or he would commit a calamity. She was tied to the bed and her hair was cut off. She was awake even though her eyes were swollen."
"Neighbors tried to intervene to defend my niece, but the husband's family were always inciting him to hit her," said the victim's uncle Ashour al-Attar.
"He killed her because he wanted her money and inheritance because all his children are girls," he added.
