The Crisis Management Centre of the French Foreign Ministry has allowed French tourists to travel to the area stretching from the city of Luxor to Abu Simbel, and reduced the warning for the city of Taba and the eastern bank of the Suez Canal.
Countries have been slowly reducing travel warnings to Egypt after security efforts to clamp down on terrorism across the country, following the ouster of Muslim Brotherhood President Mohamed Morsy and the resulting political instability.
