A ten-year-old boy died in Beheira on Sunday of an electrical shock from a power cable.
The province’s security department said medical checks concluded that the death of Youssef al-Sayyed was caused by electric shock.
Sayyed's uncle stated that a dredger run by the province’s irrigation department was cleaning a canal near their house before it accidentally tore a cable off a lamppost which touched the little boy and killed him.
