Egypt’s market loses LE6.51 billion on Tuesday, EGX30 down 1.6%

Egypt's market incurred losses on Tuesday for the second session in a row with the EGX30 closing down 1.59 percent to reach 9,433.85 points recording a turnover of LE661 million.

Meanwhile, the EGX70 index and the EGX100 declined by 2.66 percent, and 2.02 percent respectively.

" The EGX 30 sled sharply due to Egyptian aggressive selling pressure took place in most of the stocks pulling the index to close on the day’s low after failing recently to clear the mentioned resistance zone," Blom Egypt Securities said ,

Egyptian institutions were net sellers by LE56.57million, mainly offset by Egyptian retails which recorded a net buying activity of LE28.18million and foreign institutions which recorded a net buying activity of LE35.81millon

EGX market capital lost LE6.51 billion( US$853 million)  to hit LE517.16 billion compared to LE 523.67 billion on Monday's session.
