As per the request of Education Minister Mahmoud Abul Nasr, the Al-Azhar’s Education Reform Commission has been tasked with reviewing the Islamic education textbooks of the Al-Azhar universities.
Sources said the committee that is reviewing the books includes the Al-Azhar under secretary and members of the Al-Azhar Grand Sheikh’s technical office.
Endowments Minister Mohamed Mukhtar Gomma welcomed the idea and praised the minister for assigning the right and incumbent body with this task.
