Magda Salah Eddin al-Shazly, former dean of Physical Education college for women, has been selected as chief of Alexandria University faculty members club in elections held by the club’s new board on Saturday.
It’s the first time that a female heads an Egyptian university faculty members club.
Speaking to Al-Masry Al-Youm, Shazly said she won the post with a difference of eight votes from her competitor Ahmed Suleiman al-Baqry.
