Egypt's market maintained its positive performance on Wednesday for the third consecutive session triggered by local and foreign institutions buying activities that amounted to LE92.71million and LE33.23million respectively, dealer said.
EGX30 Index soared 2.53 percent recording 9,544.08 points on a total turnover of LE885million.
As well as trading on ETFs for the first time on Wednesday EGX30ETF rallied 3.90 percent to close at LE10.39, Sigma Securities Brokerage said. .
"The EGX 30 continued rising as most of the stocks continued their rallies pushing the index to clear the resistance level 9250 turning it into support, the rally was supported by increasing trading volume suggesting higher levels to be reached", Blom Egypt Securities said in research note.
EGX market capital gained LE6.04 billion to hit LE515.14 billion compared to LE509.10 billion on Tuesday.
