Cairo Criminal Court sentenced a policeman to three years in rigorous prison over taking a bribe.
Hada’eq al-Qubba prosecution earlier ordered remanding the policeman, who headed the Hada’eq al-Qubba facilities office.
The incidents date back to last year when a police station received a complaint from a citizen over being blackmailed by the suspect. The citizen says he gave LE25,000 in exchange for services and the suspect took the money but never fulfilled his agreement.
