Abdel Rahim Mostafa media, spokesman for the Red Sea Ports Authority, announced in a statement Thursday the resumption of navigation in the four ports of Suez after wind has lulled.
Mostafa added Sharm el-Sheikh Port in South Sinai continued to be closed due to bad weather.
Ports that have been re-opened in Suez are Ain Sokhna Port for the transport of containers, Adabeya Port for the transport of goods, Port Tawfiq for passengers and the Zeiteyat Port for the transport of petroleum products.
In a related context, the head of fishermen in Suez Bakry Aboul Hassan warned fishermen from straying too far in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea due to bad weather.
