(The Egyptian Wafd coalition said it insists on including the National Front of Amr Moussa, former secretary general of the Arab League, and rejecting an initiative by former Prime Minister Kamal al-Ganzouri to form a unified national list that includes the alliances with the Salafi Nour Party.
The front includes the Conference Party, Al-Tagammu Party, the Misr Balady Party and the Justice Party.
A source who attended the meeting that discussed Ganzouri’s initiative, which he had personally volunteered to offer, said it was rejected because it is difficult to unify polarized ideologies from the far right to the far left.
