Police arrested on Tuesday a Muslim Brotherhood member in Port Said as he was allegedly trying to burn down an electricity unit.
Police said the suspect allegedly used molotovs and flammable substances. He reportedly put the flammable substances in a canister and then threw molotovs on it, but the canister did not explode.
Civil protection forces put the fire out and explosives experts searched the area for other possible bombs.
Electricity facilities have become a target for saboteurs recently, while the government is trying to reduce electricity loads through cutting power alternately to reduce the deficit.
