
Civil Aviation Minister Hossam Kamal said in a statement Monday that 520 displaced Egyptians were flown home from Libya on board two planes via the Tunisian airport of Djerba.
He also said that five aid and relief containers were sent to the Libyan-Tunisian border to assist stranded Egyptians.
Kamal added that there are two Airbus 330 planes on the ground in Djerba Airport waiting for the Egyptians to cross the Ras Jedir crossing and take them home.
