Military Spokesperson Mohamed Samir said two terrorists were killed in Arish after fire exchange with armed forces elements during raid against havens in North Sinai.
He added that authorities arrested suspects arrested and destroyed two militant safehouses, three motorbikes and three vehicles during the raid.
Additionally, four farms allegedly used to support militants in Sheikh Zuwaid area, five houses, two motorbikes and seven havens in Rafah were destroyed.
Since the ouster of Muslim Brotherhood president, Mohamed Morsy, the military has undertaken a campaign in Sinai to crackdown on terrorist elements. Militant activity in Sinai rose under Morsy's presidency and the armed forces has suffered frequent attacks by unidentified armed assailants.
