Interior Ministry Spokesperson Hani abdel Latif said security services are investigating one of the people who was injured in the Shubra al-Kheima metro blast.
The injured works as a painter, abdel Latif told Al-Masry Al-Youm. He allegedly had in his possession a bag full of nails and gunpowder used in making hand grenades.
Security services also checked his mobile phone, which had many photos of the Rabaa al-Adaweya sign. His phone records are also being investigated.
The man was transferred to a hospital under high security measures until he is ruled out as a suspect.
