The Montazah Misdemeanor Court in Alexandria on Wednesday sentenced two people to six months in prison on charges of harassing a woman in an incident two weeks ago.
In related news, 12 people in Mansoura have been referred to a criminal court on charges of raping two sisters in the villages of Kafr Youssef and Sherbin.
The sisters identified 11 of the suspects, while the prosecution ordered the arrest of the 12th.
Investigation revealed that one of the defendants, a 25-year-old IT teacher named Hossam Eddin, forced the victims to sign a paper saying that they would not report the incident to the police.
