Bab al-Shaariya Misdemeanor Court cleared on Monday 169 suspects, who were accused of involvement violence that took place in Bab al-Shaariya district upon dispersal of Rabaa al-Adaweya and Nahda sit-ins in August 2013.
Prosecution earlier accused them of breaking curfew, violence and riots.
Hundreds of Muslim Brotherhood members and supporters stand trials over violence that followed the sit-in dispersal in August which were calling for reinstatement of toppled President Mohamed Morsy.
