The Cabinet mourned on Friday the victims of South Sinai and Heliopolis bombings, adding that such attacks would not intimidate the armed forces and the police.
These incidents would rather strengthen the determination of the armed forces and the police in their battle with terrorism in order to restore security and stability, a statement by the Cabinet said.
Egypt began its journey and will not look back. It is moving forward steadily and confidently with the road map, which started by ratifying a new constitution with a large majority, the statement read.
The terrorist elements will not succeed in influencing people's will to complete the road map through fair and impartial presidential and parliamentary elections, it added.
The country has been reeling from terrorist bombings since the ouster of Egypt's first democratically-elected President Mohamed Morsy. Many terrorist statements claim the attacks are retaliation for the killing of almost 600 Morsy supporters by the military in the dispersals of Rabaa al-Adaweya and Nahda square sit-ins.
