One killed as Brotherhood and army supporters clash in Damietta

A 22-year-old man was killed and six others wounded as supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood and villagers at Khayyata, Damietta, engaged in violent clashes overnight.
 
Firearms and clubs had been used by the fighting parties in the clashes that lasted till early Tuesday.
 
Security forces had managed to put the scene of clashes under control, while a team of prosecutors inspected the area and the victim’s corpse.
 
The encounters flared after Brotherhood loyalists marched late Monday to condemn death sentences against more than 600 group supporters in Minya on Monday over charges of sabotage and murder of a policeman.
