Police arrested a bus driver and his accomplice for allegedly stealing LE1 million from a passenger and were able to recover the stolen money.
The passenger, who works for an exchange bureau, was coming from Sharm El-Sheikh. He was carrying US$392,800, 25,880 euros and 17,800 Sterling pounds in his suitcase, equivalent to LE1 million.
Authorities say both defendants confessed to the theft.
