The Cairo Criminal Court will resume on Sunday the trial of deposed President Mohamed Morsy and 14 other suspects, affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood, after their request to replace a judge in their trial was earlier rejected.
The defendants are being charged with the killing of Ettihadiya protesters in December 2012,
Medhat Idris, head of the technical office of the Cairo Appeal Court, said the trial session was set after the judge replacement request submitted by Essam al-Erian was rejected and after he was fined LE10,000.
