Cairo Court of Urgent Matters on Monday accepted a lawsuit demanding the return of the the Interior Ministry guards to university campuses.
The lawsuit was filed by lawyer Tahani Ibrahim to face riots and demonstrations that take place on campuses, impede classes and damage public property.
The administrative court had in January rejected a similar lawsuit filed by lawyer Mortada Mansour, who contended that Muslim Brotherhood students turned universities into battlefields.
