North Sinai security services thwarted on Friday an attempt to blast the gas pipeline that serves the heavy industries region in central Sinai.
Security source said explosive experts found three projectiles containing TNT substance, while combing the desert area surrounding the place of the previous bombing of the pipeline linking between Arish city and two cement factories in south Arish.
Police report was filed. Prosecution was notified to conduct investigations.
The same pipeline has been recently bombed three times, the last of which was on 11 February.
