Two trucks collided on Kotsika Bridge leading to the Cairo Autostrad highway early Monday morning. No casualties were recorded.
The collision left the vital road completely backed up however, according to the head of Cairo traffic Hassan al-Bardissy.
"The first is a truck with a trailer and the other is a truck carrying petroleum products. They collided and one overturned," Badissy explained the crash.
The oil company sent another truck to unload the truck in the crash.
Traffic services officers rushed to scene and traffic is now back to normal.
