Interim President Adly Mansour issued a decree on Monday amending some provisions of the law regulating citizens voting outside their particular constituency.
The decree aims to make voting easier for citizens and to give the majority of them the chance to cast their ballots expressing their opinion in Egypt's new constitution, according to Presidential Spokesperson Ihab Badawy.
The measure is expected to help raise voter turnout in the referendum scheduled for mid-January.
