A recent poll conducted by the Centre for Information and Decision Support of the Council of Ministers showed that 82.8 percent of citizens will participate in the referendum on the constitution, compared with the 21 December figure of 78.3 percent.
The Center said the poll was conducted on 1,174 people between 28 to 30 December 2013 by phone.
Center Head Sherief Badr said another survey was conducted during the same period to determine whether citizens prefer holding the presidential or parliamentary elections first.
It showed that roughly 7.26 percent of citizens are in favor of parliamentary elections being held first, compared to 3.33 percent in the previous 21 December survey.
Badr explained that 7 percent of participants said both elections should to be held at the same time, 5.3 percent said it makes no difference and 1.23 percent said they do not know.
