The death toll in clashes in clashes staged by supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsy on Friday rose to five.
Three protesters were killed when confronted by security forces in Cairo, according to medical sources speaking to Al-Masry Al-Youm who said that all of them died of gunshot wounds.
Health Ministry spokesperson Ahmed Kamel said two other protesters died in Minya and Damietta.
Since the government declared the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, all protests have been deemed illegal and those participating in them will be arrested. Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim added that leaders of these demonstrations will be executed.
