The Alexandria Port Authority opened the Dekheila and Alexandria seaports on Sunday as weather conditions improved, with the wind and waves calming down.
The ports had been closed for four days in row.
Ships were allowed to enter and leave the ports, said Major General Adel Yassin Hammad, head of the authority.
Egypt recently experienced record lows as a cold snap extended through the country, sprinkling areas with rain and even snow in some places.
