Ahmed Morsy, the eldest son of deposed President Mohamed Morsy, welcomed a son into his family on Wednesday. He named him Mohamed after his father, who is now in the Borg Al-Arab prison.
Mohamed is Morsy’s fourth grandchild.
The former president has been denied visits on and off since his imprisonment. Morsy’s son Osama said he tried to visit his father in prison on 1 December but was rejected, despite having the correct paperwork.
