Iron & Steel Co. workers continue sit-in

Workers at the Egyptian Iron & Steel Co. announced extending their sit-in, and threatened to start a complete strike, in which thousands of workers would participate, after their demands were not met.
 
The company has said in a statement that the workers are still continuing their sit-in, as for the date of handing them their profits, it is still being negotiated with the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries, and the Ministry of Manpower .
 
A number of workers have demonstrated throughout a week to claim the their annual profits, which were delayed because of shortage in money.
 
The company has denied that the production has been affected by the worker sit-ins, and reassured that production is going normally.
