Scores of Morsy supporters went Friday to demonstrate outside the Al-Aziz Bellah mosque in the Zeitoun district, instead of to Tahrir Square, as per an earlier statement. They plan to march from there to Roxy and Matareya squares.
Protesters said they are protesting against indiscriminate arrests of Islamists by the leaders of the "military coup."
They also said that they did not go to Tahrir Square in order to prevent bloodshed.
