Egyptian stock market indexes had varied results at the end of Wednesday’s trading session. The indexes were helped by foreign investors’ purchases for the second consecutive day and also by Egyptian and Arab selling.
The stock market's benchmark index EGX-30 rose by 0.29 percent reaching 5694 points. The small and middle-sized index EGX70 decreased by 0.25 percent. The broader EGX100 declined by 0.07 percent to end at 822.39 points.
Stock trading volume was estimated at LE392.7 million. Market capital lost around LE700 million, reaching LE379.4 billion at the end of trading sessions.
