Mohamed ElBaradei, vice-president for international relations, has said that efforts to establish national reconciliation will not exclude any political faction.
In a statement on Wednesday, ElBaradei said that reconciliation will include all parties that respect the law and do not endanger national security or intimidate citizens.
ElBaradei said he is keen to make national reconciliation the government's top priority in the coming months.
ElBaradei has contacted many international figures, including UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, US Secretary of State John Kerry, and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton regarding the situation in Egypt and the region.
The presidency has called on political forces to attend national reconciliation sessions that will begin on Wednesday.
