Thirteen Egyptians returned home on Tuesday after being deported by Kuwaiti officials.
According to Kuwait, the 13 had obtained visas from bogus employment agencies.
Egypt’s consul in Kuwait, Wael Gad, is working with authorities of Al-Abaad Prison to curb the number of Egyptian citizens being detained and deported.
Another 10 Egyptian nationalis are also expected to return home following deporation procedures.
Consul members are hopeful that others detained on criminal charges and work or residency violations will also be extradited.
