Egypt's border police, in coordination with Kafr al-Sheikh security forces, foiled an illegal migration attempt by 67 men through Kafr al-Sheikh shore.
The migrants included 62 Egyptians, four Somalis and a Syrian. They were on their way to Italy.
The suspects were trying to board a boat that would take them to a ship in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. The ship would have then transported them to Italy.
Each migrant paid between LE25,000 to LE40,000.
