Spokesperson and secretary general of the 30 June fact-finding committee Omar Marawan said the final report will be submitted to the president on 21 September, after a three-month extension expires.
"All members of the technical secretariat will draft the preliminary report on the work performed, conclusions reached and obstacles faced," Marwan told Al-Masry Al-Youm on Sunday. "Following this, a committee will edit the report and will then send it to the president on 21 September."
"Eighteen members of the judicial authorities with experience in conducting independent unbiased investigations took part in gathering the information," he said, adding that some of them had experience in working in other fact-finding committees.
Former interim president Adly Mansour decided in 2013 to form a fact-finding committee to investigate violence that took place after the ouster of deposed President Mohamed Morsy.
