Chairman of the Technical Office of the First Assistant Minister of Justice Azim al-Ashry said around 232,000 citizens have submitted applications to support presidential hopefuls in the upcoming elections over the past four days.
The register office witnessed the highest turnout of citizens who submitted applications on Thursday, Ashry said.
Almost 73,000 forms were filed Thursday, the fourth day, Ashry added, with 23,700 forms submitted on the first day, 64,500 on the second, and 71,100 on the third.
