The Foreign Ministry has finalized the procedures to bring back over 145 Egyptians, who had accessed Saudi Arabia escaping from Yemen between Sunday and Monday, according to Badr Abdel Aaty, the ministry spokesperson.
The consular mission, affiliated to the Egyptian consulate in Jeddah, has facilitated the entrance of Egyptians through the Saudi Al-Tawal border crossing .
The total number of Egyptians evacuated from Yemen has reached 525 since the start of military operations.
The Egyptian embassies in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Djibouti, as well as representatives dispatched to the borders between Saudi Arabia and Oman with Yemen, are working to facilitate the return of Egyptian citizens, according tot he Ministry.
