A minibus, carrying local travelers, overturned on Sallum-Matrouh road Saturday, injuring 11 civilians, stated the Matrouh Security Directorate.
The travelers suffered a variety of injuries including bruises, abrasions and fractures and were transferred to the military hospital in Sallum city .
Matrouh Security Directorate major general, Hesham Nasr, ordered the Criminal Investigation Department probe into the cause behind the accident, and notified the public prosecution to join the investigation.
In July, two children were killed and 41 civilians were injured when a West and Middle Delta bus overturned on Alexandria-Matrouh coastal road, near Marsa Matrouh city.
